Much thanks goes out to David Steinlicht and Mark Simonson for their patience while I asked them dumb typography questions last month.

I think this version is much improved over the last. For example, the “S” and “G” are much bolder. I monkeyed around with fixing the stroke quite a bit in Illustrator. For example, changed the inside of the characters to have smaller strokes, while leaving bolder ones on the outside (with the exception of some notable crossover, of course)

Anyway, this baby is going to get slapped on a freaking banner soon, so it better look good!

Super Maxi-Pad Girl #3 is debuting within the next couple of months and since we’re about halfway done with the book I have some preview art to whet your appetite. Like the previous issues, this one will feature mutliple short stories,

Join the St. Paul Cartoonist Conspiracy Cell and create a jam comic! This week we are trying a NEW VENUE, as our usual spot is being remodeled. The jamming is easy and it’s a fun time! Just bring some drawing utensils, an idea for the jam, and a few bucks to get a tasty beverage — the baristas really do appreciate that.

The jam will start promptly at 6:30 and run until…whenever. Come earlier to reserve your space! Seating can be limited at times!

The meetings are open to anyone who wants to draw with us, and the results are posted here sooner rather than later.
