Hey! I know it’s been a while since I posted, a lot of things have happened recently that have prohibited me from doing so. For example, I am now a homeowner. AJ and myself moved into our new home this last week. I was finally able to set up my studio, well at least a crude version of it, last night. Of course, that meant I was able to draw something worthwhile for the first time in about two weeks! So, stay tuned for more of Shenanigans soon!

In the meantime, I wanted to inform you of the upcoming Iowa Comic Book Club annual convention; I-Con. I will be attending along with a small contingent of Twin Cities based artists, namely Kevin Cannon, Ryan Dow, and Danno Klonowski. It should be a fun one day event. Of course, leaving around 4:30 AM isn’t going to be pretty, but it’s for comics! Hooray!

I’m not quite settled yet in the new house, but I’ve had some time to crank out another page of Hijinks. Provided things stay on the straight and narrow, I should be able to get done with this chapter and start chapter three this month! Fingers crossed!

Chapter two is done! Sorry it took so long to post. This was a really simple page to do, but I just got tied up with new house things this weekend. I’m guessing there will be more of the same next weekend as well. Anyhow, I started writing chapter three tonight and it may be a bit longer than these two chapters. I will start drawing and posting as soon as I’m done writing the next chapter, which will probably be sometime next week.

Join the St. Paul Cartoonist Conspiracy Cell and create a jam comic! It’s easy and fun! Just bring some drawing utensils, an idea for the jam, and a few bucks to get a tasty beverage — the baristas really do appreciate that.

The jam will start promptly at 6:30 and run until…whenever. Come earlier to reserve your space! Seating can be limited at times!
