Obviously Duggan isn’t a Communist, he’s a flag waving American and believe in all American principals right? Bear in mind, he has turned on his country before. Remember when he was a Canadian sympathizer? In this photo he is standing next to Jerry “The King” Lawler. What are they talking about? Perhaps Lawler is explaining how much greater a monarchy would be as a form of government for the United States.
Then again, maybe the title of this post is alluding to the reddish tint illuminating the arena. Much like the answer to the age old question “how many licks does it take to get to the Tootsie Roll center of a Tootsie Pop,” I guess we’ll never know.
The Swan Song continues! To recap, Alistair has been replaced by Dan as the creative force behind the comic. As the new, and original, creator of the comic Dan decided to cease the bewilderedkidiverse’s existence, however for the sake of wrapping up storylines, he moved that date out to sometime in May.
Mr. Richard Head, has taken it upon himself to try and save the comic. Although Mr. Head had troubles gaining allies in his crusade to save the comic, he found some allies to start his OWN comic! Fish and Floating Puddle of Piss are now on the search for their partner-in-crime Zombie, who rounds out their creative team. However, the last time we saw Zombie he was traversing the country in a giant robotic T-Rex. Now, the previous owner of the giant robotic T-Rex is also on the lookout for Zombie and company.
What happens next as this comic drags along? Find out!

Although Mr. Head had troubles gaining allies in his crusade to save the comic, he found some allies to start his OWN comic! His creative team is rounded out by Fish, Floating Puddle of Piss and Zombie, who just returned from traversing the country in a giant robotic T-Rex. In additon to Zombie returning, the T-Rex has brought back Dunk, Bunny, the Bratty Kid from The Fourth Void, and Burt Burton! Oh yeah….the former owner of the T-Rex, Sal Sleaze, has resurfaced as well.

The little book featured in this picture has been the reason there haven’t been too many posts lately. Here you see assistant editor AJ Niehaus poring over Super Fantastica Comix 2009 looking for any screw-ups.
This book will premiere at the Small Press and Alternative Comics Expo (S.P.A.C.E.) in Columbus, Ohio on April 18th - 19th. It was also scheduled for another premiere at the MCBA Microcon in St. Paul, Minnesota on April 26th, but the official invite hasn’t arrived in the mail yet, so I’m a little nervous about that convention.
If you aren’t able to make either of those shows, it will be available through the online store, at any comic shop that is kind enough to carry it, and at the Twin Cities Zinefest July 11th - 12th.
My friend Kevin McCarthy has been posting his webcomic Gee, Whizzard for the past couple of months over at Michael Davis World Dot Com. You should take a looksee!

Next, Burt Burton returned after traversing the country in a giant T-Rex and scared Head’s creative team out of doing the comic. Now Mr. Head is flipping out and seemingly distorting reality. What happens now?
